Our Rehabilitation Assistants and Kinesiologists have education/degrees in kinesiology, recreation therapy or related fields.

At JR Rehab, we know the value of occupational therapy as our founder is an Occupational Therapist. If you operate your own OT practice or work in a clinic, we can provide all the Rehabilitation Assistant and Kinesiologist services you may require. Reinforcing the quality of your services by increasing the intensity and frequency of your client's rehabilitation interaction is our paramount goal.

We understand the impact of a strong rehab team. Our highly educated RA's and Kinesiologists are trained to assist OT's in the implementation of treatment plans.

The Rehabilitation Assistant and/or Kinesiologist will work under your direction and provide you with regular progress reports on your client.

Invoicing or billing for the Rehabilitation Assistant is not required. We take care of directly billing the insurance company or fee payer for the services provided.

An additional layer of supervision ensures you receive quality service. At JR Rehab Services Inc., our Rehabilitation Assistant Coordinator, Kevin Loades, meets with each Rehabilitation Assistant to review and monitor client progress. These "client reviews" ensure we uphold our unique standards. The added benefit to you is a behind-the-scenes network of professional support monitoring and evaluating your client's progress at all stages of intervention.

JR Rehab provides medical legal services that include Case Management, Future Care Assessments and Independent Living Skills Assessments.

At JR Rehab, we know that sometimes when a structured physio program comes to an end, clients need assistance learning how to become independent with continuing an exercise program in their everyday life. Our highly educated Kinesiologists accompany your client to their local fitness centre and create a specifically designed program that encompasses all their unique needs.

For a number of years, JR Rehab Services Inc. has been working with the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority Brain Injury Supports Program, helping individuals with an acquired brain injury regain their independence. In addition to providing rehabilitation services, we guide clients in resourcing provincially funded services for the disabled therefore ensuring the client is well supported through community based services.

If your patient has recently suffered injury or illness or has recently been discharged home from hospital and you feel they may benefit from private occupational therapy services, JR Rehab can assist. Our Occupational Therapists can provide hospital discharge planning and a home assessment in order to ensure that a patient's transition from hospital-to-home happens smoothly. A JR Occupational Therapist can assess the need for adaptive equipment, modifications to the home or the need for support services such as a Care Worker or Nurse.

If your elderly patient has the financial resources to participate in our private Seniors Active Wellness Program, we will gladly take a referral. We can provide your patient with private one-to-one active exercise/rehab programs in their own home, local community centre gym or pool. There is no need to come to a clinic because we do house calls! Following an assessment by one of our Occupational Therapists and a consultation with you, a wellness program is designed for your patient based upon their needs and health status.
