Emily Bennett

Emily completed her MSc. In Occupational Therapy at McMaster University and has experience practicing in the public sector in rural and remote regions in Northern British Columbia. Emily worked on an Interprofessional team providing generalized OT services in the community and within indigenous communities. Emily also has experience providing OT services across the following hospital areas: internal medicine, family medicine, intensive care, high acuity, short stay medical, surgical, rehabilitation, and geriatric day hospital.

Emily has strong interests in health promotion and quality of life, mental health and wellness, community integration, and family-centered care. Emily is passionate about quality improvement and providing holistic and evidence-based care.

Emily recently moved to Vancouver Island with her partner and her dog, and enjoys spending her free time playing outside. She enjoys trail running, biking, rock climbing, yoga, cooking, and being around great people.
