Recently the Province launched the new Home Adaptations for Independence (HAFI) program to help low-income seniors and people with disabilities finance home modifications for accessible, safe and independent living. Eligible homeowners, renters and landlords can receive up to $20,000 per home in the form of a forgiveable loan.
For more information on the Home Adaptations for Independence program can be found on BC Housing’s website at www.bchousing.org/HAFI or go through the link on the JR Rehab resources page under community support.
