Hydrotherapy is a fast developing tool of preventing and treating variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
This course is designed for physiotherapists, kinesiologists, recreational therapists, and pool instructors who are wanting to explore new ways of working with patients/clients in a water environment. Participants are not expected to have any previous Tai-Chi experience.
Level two will review particular musculoskeletal conditions such as WAD, Frozen Shoulder, ankle injuries, post fractures and joint replacements. These techniques will build on the general knowledge base of level 1, with a highly practical component of application to the techniques taught. Specific case scenerios will be reviewed to provide you with a comprehensive treatment protocol for each condition. In addition, key elements of the group Water Tai Chi classes will be reviewed.
At the end of this course you will be able to treat specific conditions using the principals taught in this course.
