I practice mindfulness and teach it whenever possible as it has been scientifically proven to have innumerable health benefits. I have a strong respect for human rights and the right to self determination and individuality so when working with someone I try to be as open, adaptable and creative as possible. I believe that each individual can be an expert on their own health and empowered to achieve their optimum health outcomes with the proper guidance and education. As a rehabilitation specialist I see it as my job to guide people on this journey. I believe that wellness is interdependent upon physical, social and mental heath and that a dynamic approach to rehabilitation that considers each of these aspects is the most effective.
