Alexia Baptista

Type: Rehab Assistants & Kinesiologists

Alexia has worked as a behavioral  interventionist and shadowed an OT. She is interested in providing a safe and fun environment for active rehabilitation by providing client education and client-centered sessions. Other interests include the mind-body connection and how strengthening our mental health is just as important as our physical health.

She loves staying active via hikes, weight-lifting and spin classes.

Hannah Jiwani

Type: Rehab Assistants & Kinesiologists

Hannah has experience shadowing an Occupational Therapist at Kaigo Senior Living Community, assisting in the walking program and exercise classes for the older adults, with a passion for helping the geriatric population remain active and maintain their quality of life.

She also loves sports – Basketball and Soccer in particular.

Harleen Kaur

Harleen finished her Kinesiology degree from Simon Fraser University in 2018 with concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation. Prior to finishing school, she spent time volunteering and working as Student Kinesiologist liaising with disabilities ranging from short term to long term. From the beginning, Harleen had believed in working with mind and body. Hence, she likes to train in a way that involves them in the holistically and maximizes their physical, emotional and functional capacity.

Jason Hotell

Type: Rehab Assistants & Kinesiologists

Jason is a practicing Kinesiologist who graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University College of the Fraser Valley and has been working as a Kinesiologist for over 9 years.  He has also completed a Fitness and Exercise Management Diploma from University College of the Fraser Valley.  Jason enjoys providing injury rehabilitation services to clients in their home and community, as well as aqua therapy and community access.  When not assisting clients, you can find Jason spending time with his family, skiing, and playing baseball and golf.

General Manager

Sarah graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.  She enjoys engaging people in physical reactivation programs and educating people about proper biomechanics, muscle balance and nutrition, as well as assisting clients in goal setting and achievement whether physical or lifestyle related.  She also likes to assist people in regaining independence and access to the community.  Sarah loves to travel, spend time outdoors, run, swim, hike and soak up the sun.  Yoga and reading are her favorite relaxing activities.

Sunny Mann

Type: Rehab Assistants & Kinesiologists

KIN Team Lead

Prior to working with JR Rehab Services, Sunny has had experience in active rehab for soft tissue and orthopaedic injuries.  Sunny takes pride in aqua therapy and gym based exercise prescription and educating clients on muscular imbalances and goal setting.  He also has experience as a strength-based interventionist for children with fetal alcohol syndrome and volunteer experience with a social development program at Blue Jay Elementary School.  Sunny is a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do,  plays receiver in a touch-football league, and plays basketball and golf on a casual basis. He also enjoys keeping up with current events and the latest movies.
