Britta Henly

Type: Occupational Therapists

Britta graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelors of Science in Occupational Therapy in 2005. She has worked in a variety of settings including acute care, residential care, inpatient psychiatry, home and community care and most recently orthopedics specializing in joint replacement.

Britta has taken on leadership roles and program development in several settings including inpatient psychiatry, home and community care and joint replacement. She values client centered care and loves engaging clients by hearing their story, empowering and enabling them to set and achieve goals and overcome obstacles.

Britta loves spending time with her husband,2 children friends and family. She enjoys reading, hiking, cycling and travelling.

Britta has joined JR Rehab team in January 2017 and looks forward to using her OT skills in the areas of disability case management, Functional Capacity Evaluation and Cost of Future Care planning.

Sarah Northrup

Type: Occupational Therapists

Sarah Northrup is born and raised in Victoria, BC where she received a BCYC at the University of Victoria and then worked as a social worker for five years. She recently completed her Master of Occupational Therapy Degree at the University of British Columbia and is excited to be returning to Victoria and joining the JR Rehab team to work as an occupational therapist in community rehabilitation. Sarah’s passion is working with individual’s in their lived environments to reach their optimal performance and potential. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, exploring new places, and reading a book with a cup of tea. Sarah’s approach to practice is working with people in a client-centred, evidence-informed, strengths-based, and recovery-oriented way.
