Brenda Robinson

Type: Occupational Therapists

Brenda had been the Occupational therapist for over 40 years. She has 20 years of work experience providing community-based occupational therapy services and case management to clients with orthopedic and soft tissue injuries throughout a continuum from hospital discharge to return to work. She has also provide OT services in care facilities, and assists elderly clients with aging in place.

Brenda’s interest include ergonomics, vocational rehabilitation, as well as geriatrics and equipment prescription.

Caroline Cotton

Type: Occupational Therapists

Caroline trained at the Dorset House School of Occupational Therapy in Oxford. Also trained at the London School of Economics as a Private Secretary/ Personal Administrative Assistant; and Diploma in Interior Design through International Correspondence School.

She worked in England at St. Andrew’s Private Psychiatric Hospital, specializing in Brain Injury and Drug & Alcohol Recovery, in addition to working on a Regional Secure Unit for the Criminally Insane in London. She immigrated to Canada in  1990. She worked in the Kootenays as a community based Pediatric OT at the Children’s Development center, covering the schools throughout Nelson, Castlegar, Rossland, and Trail. Moved back to Lower Mainland,to set up Psychiatric Day Care Unit at Langley Memorial Hospital, covering in Patient Physical Medicine OT position. She worked as the first OT with a Brain Injury Rehab Company( Head works), specializing in Vocational Rehabilitation, Return to Work, and Er gnomic Assessments. Set up the first Community OT program with the Boundary Health Unit( continuing care) covering Ladner, Tsawwassen, White Rock, South Surrey and Cloverdale, whilst living and commuting from Sqaumish. Moved back into private practice with Northwest Rehab following the birth of her son in 1997, whilst covering  a casual OT position at Ridge Meadows Hospital in the Psychiatric Department, and a casual OT position at Surrey Memorial, covering physical medicine positions.

Commence working with Rehab Solutions in 1997 and have been here for 20 years.

Special interest in brain injury/spinal injury survivors, dual diagnosis; chronic pain;all age groups with specialized experience in elderly people.

Jordan Landy

Type: Occupational Therapists

Ergonomic Services Coordinator

Initially trained as a paramedic, Jordan’s passion for the health industry developed into a focus on Occupational Therapy while working as a Case Manager for a workers compensation insurance agency in Australia. After graduating with a Bachelor in Occupational Therapy from the University of Queensland, Jordan relocated to practice in his home province and has since enjoyed working within both the public and private sectors. During his time with the Fraser Health Authority, Vancouver Coastal Health (GF Strong) and as an Occupational Therapist for a private firm based in the Fraser Valley, Jordan’s commitment and passion to the industry has grown to help clients across a diverse population including surgical, cardiac, geriatric, orthopedic, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries.

Outside work hours, Jordan enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, hockey, writing and playing the guitar.

Rebecca Izen

Type: Occupational Therapists

Rebecca received her undergraduate degree from the University of British Columbia where she majored in Kinesiology with a secondary focus in Family Studies. Upon graduation she pursued her passion for helping individuals with disabilities and she returned to UBC to earn a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. Rebecca has worked with a variety of individuals of all ages with both physical and mental health difficulties, from aiding school-aged children with learning disabilities, to reintegrating individuals back into their communities. In her free time Rebecca is passionate about staying active. She participates in many team sports and always enjoys taking walks around the Seawall with her dog Franky. Rebecca deeply values staying connected with her family, and especially loves spending quality time with her young nephews. Being born and raised in Vancouver, Rebecca is sincerely committed to the well being of her city, community, and the people who live in it.

Sarah Clarke

Type: Directors & Managers

General Manager

Sarah graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.  She enjoys engaging people in physical reactivation programs and educating people about proper biomechanics, muscle balance and nutrition, as well as assisting clients in goal setting and achievement whether physical or lifestyle related.  She also likes to assist people in regaining independence and access to the community.  Sarah loves to travel, spend time outdoors, run, swim, hike and soak up the sun.  Yoga and reading are her favorite relaxing activities.

Sunny Mann

Type: Rehab Assistants & Kinesiologists

KIN Team Lead

Prior to working with JR Rehab Services, Sunny has had experience in active rehab for soft tissue and orthopaedic injuries.  Sunny takes pride in aqua therapy and gym based exercise prescription and educating clients on muscular imbalances and goal setting.  He also has experience as a strength-based interventionist for children with fetal alcohol syndrome and volunteer experience with a social development program at Blue Jay Elementary School.  Sunny is a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do,  plays receiver in a touch-football league, and plays basketball and golf on a casual basis. He also enjoys keeping up with current events and the latest movies.
